Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to read our guides and use our calculators, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, and we keep improving as we build.
What we do
- Pages work at any screen size, from phones to large monitors.
- Photos have text descriptions, and the menu, forms and calculators work with a keyboard.
- Video plays silently and stops moving if your device asks for reduced motion.
- Text and buttons are designed for clear contrast.
Known limits
Some visual parts — like the wick placement diagram and printable templates — carry information that is easiest to use by sight. Where we can, the same numbers are also given as text in a table.
